It is so very refreshing to find a major corporation that is willing to not only go with the times, but also have the foresight to see that by offering their workers the opportunity to do their jobs from home, can actually help them too, by creating a caring image.

Clearly not all jobs are going to be available to their staff, but for the ones that can do a productive job from home and it suit’s the individual and their family situation, then nobody loses, in fact it would appear that Xerox is likely to build a really loyal work force because they have the faith in their staff.

Even if the work from home opportunity is not taken up immediately the company does have an impressive back ground in staff relations, hear is just an example of what is on offer:

-Flex time
- Job sharing
- Telecommuting
- Child-care subsidies
- Domestic partner benefits

Companies like this should be applauded in the way that they have approached this, I just wish that there were many other companies who adopted the same attitude, it would be very interesting to hear about other work from home positions that are with large or famous corporations.

With the changes in technology and family life, the work at home option can really help some people who other wise would not be able to work, due to their commitments at home.
